A must visit if on El Paso.  In town for a couple of days and Mo'z was highly recommended.

I ordered the combination plate so that I could have a taste of all of their bbq.  Ribs,  Brisket and Sausage.

The smoked ribs ranked up there with some of the best I've ever had.  Great flavor.  The sausage was pleasing to the taste buds as well.  While the brisket had great flavor, it was a bit chewy.

I had fresh cut fries that were cut almost potato chip thin, yet not Cooke to the crispy chip texture. The seasoning made them one of my favorite sides.

I'd definitely recommend Mo'z.  I wish I was in town longer.

This has got to be one of the worst BBQ places in town. Sadly, years ago when they were a small little place on Fred Wilson and Dyer they were very good. Now that they are on Alabama, their quality is very poor.

My husband wanted to go here since we were in the area. I ordered the rib plate with mac n cheese and baked beans. My husband ordered brisket with mac n cheese.

While my husband was placing the order with the hostess/server, the cook (I assume) came out and spoke to the young lady in a very rude and uncalled for manner in front of us, the guest. I wanted to say something to her, but since she was likely the one to make our food, I refrained.

We ordered it to go, so while waiting for our food I took notice of the dust strings hanging from the ceiling, the caked up dirt against the baseboards, and the overall unkept nature of the place.

So after about 20 minutes of waiting, the food came. It was very neatly placed in to go containers, not sloppy or anything. This is the only reason for 1 star ( and because we can't give anything less than 1.

The first thing I tasted was the mac n cheese. It was bland, clumpy, and my first bite was my last bite. Next I tried the baked beans. Also bland, and I again could not bring myself to eat them.

Hoping for a miracle- I try the ribs. The ribs had very little flavor, the bbq sauce taste better out of a bottle, but the one saving grace is the meat was tender. I ate 2 ribs and chucked it up as a lesson learned.

My husband liked the brisket enough to finish it, but did not care for the bbq sauce and did not touch his double side of mac n cheese.

Oh, we did eat the bread it came with. Not too sure what the onions were for. Needless to say, we won't be returning. Has this place even passed inspection??

I'm so disturbed and disappointed that I don't even want to check my spelling on this review. It's just not worth it.

So disappointing and kind of creepy. The guy that served us was trying to be nice but he was just awkward in general. He would hold weird conversations and stay at the table for an extremely long time. My father asked in a joking manner if he was Mo... And the guy actually responded that he was 3 shades too light and maybe a 100 lbs off of being Mo.

Half of everything I tried ordering they were out of.  I tried ordering macaroni and cheese as a side, apparently they were out. I ordered the chicken and waffles, asked for dark meat and then 20 minutes later he tells me their out of dark meat because they had packaging issues. I guess I was confused as well because the picture shows actual bone in chicken pieces and I was brought fried chicken strips. It had a really funky taste to it! The waffles were really soggy and also tasted like something was rotten in it. My father had the pork rib plate with coleslaw and potato salad. The ribs were okay-ish (cold). Anyways I will just have to keep looking for a somewhat decent BBQ place elsewhere.

Daniel correctly describes Mo'Z as a nice little neighborhood BBQ joint, don't expect a major operation ready to satiate your every BBQ desire.

I had a 3 meat combo platter at Mo'Z (sausage, brisket, and ribs), the meal was okay, the sausage is average, though the brisket is surprisingly tender and the ribs are decent.  The sauce unfortunately, is rather bland and doesn't add much flavor.  The fries are actually quite terrific, I recommend them as your side.

I visited Mo'Z because of a Groupon deal, so check to see if there's one available.
